What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Sets up, operates and monitors tube bender machine to ensure correct bending of parts
  • Inspects parts for accuracy per blueprints and design sketches
  • Operates flaring machine to complete the process  
  • Completes required documentation, electronic or paper, on all work performed
  • Understands and adheres to established safety and quality procedures
  • Maintains a clean work area and practices general housekeeping standards
  • Performs all tasks to ISO standards and requirements
  • Assists engineering with special projects
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Your Professional Experience Should Be…

REQUIRED:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 1 + years manufacturing experience

  • Basic math skills to include:  understanding degrees of angle and using a tape measure with accuracy
  • Attention to detail is essential

  • Ability to learn to use an angle measurement device

  • Ability to learn to operate copper straightener and flaring machine

  • Proven ability to identify, reason and problem solve minor non-conformities and deviations  

  • General computer knowledge and specific program training
  • Overtime and weekend hours, as needed

PREFERRED:

  • Experience using blueprints and design sketches
  • Familiarity with ISO procedures
  • Knowledge or experience working with Chart products

Your Education Should Be…

High school diploma or equivalent

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to risk of electrical shock. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, and vibration.

 

Loud noise level in the work environment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance. 

Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision.
