The position also requires the use of small hand tools, ability to read and understand assembly drawings.  This position is located at our Duluth, GA location.

What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…

 

  • Performs bench-type processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and subassemblies, using hand tools and electronic and pneumatic tooling.
  • Perform assembly/ fabrication of treatment systems per provided drawings/schematics.
  • Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
  • Maintains the work area, tools and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
  • Performs preventive maintenance on machines as required per P.M. charts.
  • Adhere to Chart's Safety Standards and Guidelines.
  • Completes tasks with minimum supervision, per manufacturing schedules.
  • Perform other tasks as requested by management.

Your Professional Experience Should Be…

 

  • Must be able to accurately read a tape measure
  • Basic math skills
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Experience reading Bill Of Materials (BOMS) and drawings
  • Prefer some experience in assembly of Schedule 80 PVC, Stainless Steel, and copper piping components and systems.
  • Overtime and weekend hours, as needed

Your Education Should Be…

 

High school diploma or GED, preferred

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to vibration. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
