Ensuring Chart’s Success…

Chart’s MicroBulk Mobiles and Meters group for the past 22 years has been a critical resource for the success of our customer’s MicroBulk business.  The Senior Product Specialist will ensure our customer needs are met by providing technical assistant and performing onsite services such as meter calibration, preventive maintenance, and on-site equipment trainings. 

 

What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…

  • Conduct onsite services such as meter calibrations, preventative maintenance and equipment training at customer sites
  • Identify and pursue future business opportunities for meter service business
  • Trouble shoot equipment over the phone or onsite
  • Update standard operating procedures and train on equipment across multi-functional departments
  • Develop, maintain, and update service equipment to ensure professional experience for our customers
  • Prepare detailed trip reports and proper documentation for onsite service trips
  • Adhere to service agreements per sales and product managements directives
  • Perform tasks associated with electrical and mechanical components used in a system

Your Professional Experience Should Be…

Required:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a technical related field
  • Effective in using MS Office software programs (such as MS Word, Excel, Access, etc.) for data collection, analysis, and report generation
  • Detail oriented, with a drive to meet or exceed internal & external customer requirements
  • Skills in successfully working with multi-functional departments to achieve desired results
  • Experience with gaining customers confidence with a service or product

Desired:

  • Experience with cryogenics and meter equipment
  • Familiarity of industrial controls and automation
  • Ability to gain customer confidence with a service or product
  • Experience in documentation, implementation, and maintenance of test procedures

 

 

Your Education Should Be…

  • High school diploma or technical school equivalency degree
  • Four year technical or technical teaching degree Highly Desired

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…

  • This position will require the ability to travel over 50% of the time
  • Frequent standing, sitting, walking, bending, stooping, and twisting
  • Exposure to high voltage, flammable gas mixtures, and cryogenic temperatures
  • Lift up to 50 pounds, with the occasional need to lift over 75lbs
