What Will You Do?

• Enter and update datra in the MRP/ERP system based on purchasing procedures
• Communicate delivery expectations, quality needs, and support goals to suppliers
• Work with logistics to arrange shipments and close orders on time
• Maintain reports on cost savings, delivery performance, and inventory as needed
• Follow Chart's procedures and safety guidelines while acting ethically
• Inform Project Managers about material issues that could affect deadlines
• Attend team meetings to discuss project status and resolve issues
• Adhere to Quality Management System processes for supplier approvals and track material issues
• Lead supplier development by working with Category Support, Quality, and Engineering
• Help negotiate pricing, payment, delivery, and quality terms with suppliers
• Serve as the main contact for hart's suppliers adn promote the Chart brand
• Create purchase orders for assigned projects adn confirm delivery dates
• Coordinate with vendors to prevent supply issues
• Analyze reports on coverage and supplier performance
• Collaborate with engineering and project management on changes and new projects
• Review daily production reports
• Manage strategies for replenishing assigned materials

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…

INTERACTION:
Internal Departments/Customers - Operations, Proposals, Project Management, Engineering, etc.
Vendors – Supplier, Distributors, etc.
Accounts Payable when dealing with invoices

Your Experience Should Be...

• Bachelors degree in a related field
• At least two (2) years of directly related experience
• Association for Supply Chain Management Certification in CPIM preferred
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in teams
