What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…

  • Responsible for projects related to Hydrogen vehicle fuel systems
  • Lead regulatory compliance initiatives, related to Hydrogen vehicle fuel systems and related components
  • Support for product design and documentation for Hydrogen vehicle fuel systems
  • Supports changes via the Engineering Change Request process
  • Support interdepartmental teams to evaluate manufacturability of products, improve production efficiency, assess tooling requirements, and estimating labor/material
  • Work with interdepartmental teams to ensure continuous compliance to IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards
  • Involvement in relevant standard organizations (ISO, NFPA, SAE, etc)
  • Observe and practice safety procedures and policies
  • Follow the 5-Phase release process for new product introduction (ie: APQP)
  • Define and communicate product/component specifications to suppliers for new products or special customer projects
  • Observe and practice safety procedures and policies
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management 

 

Your Education Should Be…

BS degree required, preferably in Mechanical Engineering

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…

  • Frequent standing, sitting, and walking,
  • Frequent lifting up to 25 lbs., occasional heavier lifting
  • Frequent computer work.
  • Hands on to include working on different types of trucks

Your Professional Experience Should Be…

Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in the Heavy Truck, Automotive Industry as an OEM supplier or OEM manufacturer

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Highly motivate self-starter and a team player
  • Customer service orientation
  • Must be proficient with the Microsoft Office Pak, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Exposure to JD Edwards or similar manufacturing software
  • Basic understanding of Cryogenic Liquids and their properties
  • Understanding of heat transfer and vacuum insulation
  • Heavy Truck, automotive or diesel engine experience as related to fuel delivery and electrical systems a plus
  • Experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, etc  a plus
