The main purpose of the newly created Aftermarket Customer Service Administrator is as follows:
• Provide administrative support to the Sales, Project Teams, Workshop and Service Teams.
• First point of contact for all visitors dealing with enquiries, supplying appropriate information regarding the organisation to the public, clients and customers.
Who are we…
Due to growth of the Howden UK business & UK water market, in addition to incorporating our parent company Chart’s products into our UK service portfolio, we are opening a new facility based in Barlborough, near Sheffield.
Howden UK have been at the forefront of implementing service synergies, including working within the LNG industry, and being part of the drive to implement SDOX (a product from Chart Water). We have recently won business in the UK for cryogenic trailer repairs and overhauls so will be expanding the Howden UK organisation to establish ourselves in the market for service and repair of cryogenic trailers, ISO containers and packages gas units in the UK.
Within Chart Europe, we already have established businesses who manufacture, service and repair cryogenic trailers across our business locations in Czech, Germany, Italy and Sweden.
Barlborough will be the home of a larger Aftermarket Centre capable of executing the increased growth expected through 2025 and beyond. We are now recruiting a number of new roles to support the growth of cryogenic repairs and overhauls in the UK.
What will you do…
- Ensure adherence to Environmental Health & Safety standards in compliance with company policy to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain, in conjunction with the Workshop Supervisor the facilities management of the full Barlborough site, including engaging with 3rd party contractors to ensure all FM activities are done on time and correctly.
- Ensure all enquiries received from Customers and representatives either in person or via email are acknowledged and that each enquiry is dealt with by the appropriate member of staff.
- Maintain holiday charts and sickness records for all Barlborough workshop employees sending all absence paperwork to HR office in Renfrew.
- Assist with Administration of sales orders for the Project teams & Workshop on to the ERP system.
- Prepare and maintain engineer’s time sheets for all Barlborough workshop staff, collating worked hours for submission to Howden payroll for processing.
- Assist project managers with the collating of costs to close off workshop and spares projects.
- Purchase order expediting in line with ERP system requirements, reporting updates to the Workshop Supervisor.
- There will be a requirement to deputise/ provide holiday cover for the AFM Service Administrator during holiday/ sick periods as required.
What do you bring…
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Experience of the applications of Microsoft Office
- Business Administration Qualification
- Experience of Microsoft 365, Salesforce and AX data bases
- Ability to prioritise work whilst fulfilling information requests
- To work proficiently under pressure
- Abilty to exercise own initiative in times where direction is unavailable
