What Will You Do?
As an experienced Head Accountant in our team, we are looking for someone who will be able to perform the below tasks:
• Developing accounting methodology for Czech and US GAAP and ensuring its implementation in the ERP system
• Ensuring that all financial transactions comply with the latest accounting standards and statutory legislation
• Monitoring of local tax and accounting legislation and its implementation in the company's internal standards
• Dealing with complicated and extraordinary accounting transactions
• Methodological guidance and coordination of the activities of the accounting team
• Dealing with auditors, tax authorities and tax advisors, including communication with advisors on foreign tax registrations
• Coordinating and ensuring the timeliness of monthly closings
• Preparation of monthly and annual accounts and annual report in line with local legislation
• Preparation of corporate income tax returns and VAT returns
• Working with colleagues from other departments and actively participate on the projects.
• Carrying out other activities corresponding to the type of work agreed in the employment contract
• Experience with group structures (reporting, cash pool, shared services, etc.) is an advantage
• Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office product family, especially Excel
• Experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards a plus, but not a must)
• Hands-on Mentalist

• As a Head Accountant for minimum 5 years
• University degree in Economics with a focus on Finance and/or Accounting
• Current accounting and tax legislation active knowledge
• Strong ERP system and MS Office knowledge.
