What Will You Do?

 Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for engineering materials, equipment, and services  Prepare and process purchase requisitions, RFQs (Request for Quotation) and Purchase Orders  Analyse technical specifications, drawings, and BOMs in coordination with engineering teams  Compare quotations and negotiate price, delivery, payment terms, and contracts  Ensure materials comply with technical, quality, and statutory requirements  Coordinate with vendors to ensure on-time delivery and resolve supply issues  Work closely with production, planning, quality, and finance departments  Track order status, follow up on delays, and manage expediting activities  Good knowledge of C-class items, including fasteners and electrical bought-out components  Strong understanding of local logistics, including delivery challans, invoices, e-way bills, and transporter coordination  Monitor and manage supplier performance to ensure quality and timely delivery  Prepare and review purchase orders, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.  Knowledge in Logistics for Inbound and Out Bound local transits  Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems to streamline purchasing processes

Proficiency in negotiating with suppliers to secure the best terms, prices, and delivery schedules  Strong analytical skills to assess market trends, evaluate supplier performance, and make data-driven decisions  Capability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment  Understanding of budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis to manage procurement costs effectively  Proactive and able to work on own initiative  Experience working within an Manufacturing Industry at Purchase department
