Chart Energy & Chemicals facility specializes in cold box assembly and fabrication, pressure vessels and other cryogenic equipment as used for the air separation and hydrocarbon industries. The end users of this equipment include all the major LNG, petrochemical and air separation engineering on a worldwide basis. The facility is located in the Port of Iberia.
What Will You Do?
- Maintain and control company documentation in accordance with established procedures, customer requirements, and regulatory standards
- Organize, track, and maintain records including drawings, specifications, Material Test Reports (MTRs/CMTRs), and job documentation
- Process and organize MTRs/CMTRs to ensure compliance with project specifications, for MRB per project.
- Verify heat numbers and maintain full material traceability from receiving through final documentation packages
- Cross-check MTRs with QC documentation during fabrication
- Compose and compile material report books (turnover packages) for jobs and customers, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and proper sequencing
- Assemble final documentation packages including MTRs, CMTRs, drawings, coatings reports, and inspection records
- Complete and manage drawing distribution, ensuring correct revisions are released to shop personnel and departments
- Maintain revision control and ensure obsolete drawings/documents are removed from circulation
- Support receiving, quality, and project management teams by distribution material certifications
- Ensure all documentation aligns with fabrication, welding, and inspection requirements
- Maintain both electronic and hard copy filing systems for secure storage and quick retrieval
- Archive completed job files and superseded documents per retention policies
- Assist with internal, customer, and third-party inspectors, audits by providing accurate documentation and traceability records
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Receiving, and Production teams to ensure document accuracy and job readiness
- Identify gaps in documentation and proactively resolve discrepancies
- Support continuous improvement of document control and turnover processes
- Works with a minimum of supervision

Your Experience Should Be...
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate, Technical or Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Technical, or related field)
- Experience in document control, records management, or administrative roles required
- Experience handling MTRs, drawing control, and material report books preferred
- Experience with drawing control and revision management
- Familiarity with document management systems (DMS) or ERP systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)
- Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial environment preferred
- Education may be substituted by extended experience
