As our Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring that our statutory reporting, tax compliance, and accounting processes meet the highest standards. You will work closely with auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders to ensure our financial foundation is strong, transparent, and fully aligned with NL GAAP, US GAAP, and SOX requirements.
This is a hands‑on role with clear ownership across statutory reporting, audit coordination, tax compliance, inventory accounting, and fixed assets. What you will be doing
- Ensuring compliance with NL GAAP, US GAAP, internal policies, and SOX requirements
- Delivering statutory and external reporting and ensuring alignment with group and management figures
- Supporting the MEC reporting process
- Liaising with internal and external auditors
- Playing a key role in end‑to‑end statutory audits
- Preparing statutory annual accounts, disclosures, and supporting sign‑off processes
- Coordinating corporate income tax (PE), transfer pricing, and VAT compliance
- Liaising with tax advisors and authorities
- Managing inventory accounting, reconciliations, provisions, and physical counts
- Maintaining the fixed asset register, including capitalisation, depreciation, impairments, and disposals
What do you bring?
An ideal candidate would likely have the following profile:
- Education at HBO+ or WO level (e.g., Accountancy, Economics, SPD)
- Experience with SOX compliance and inventory controlling
- Experience in a project organisation, including Percentage of Completion (POC)
- Knowledge of ERP systems; Dynamics 365 is a strong advantage
- Experience working with Excel
- Knowledge of reporting in a high‑demanding environment
- Fluent Dutch and strong English proficiency

Our benefits

- Collective Labor Agreement: The "CAO Metalektro" is applicable
