Our expertise has made a valuable difference for our clients for the past 100+ years and we are now looking for a Project-Proposal Engineer who will join our Revamp and Repair team in our Aftermarket department in Rheden and assist us in making a valuable difference in the century to come. The purpose of the role is that you give technical as well as commercial sales support in line with customer request for quotation, wishes and demands. It is a great position to develop your commercial and technical skills while being part of a growing organization with opportunities to implement process improvements! This role requires close cooperation with our Howden CPI repair facility in Zuidland.

 

What needs to be done?

  • Analyzing and interpreting requests for quotation until finalizing and sending the final quotation to the customer or internal stakeholders.
  • Investigate the technical possibilities to modify and repair existing reciprocating, diaphragm and periflow compressors while being in contact with customers, our repair facility in Zuidland and other internal stakeholders.
  • Preparing the project budget and writing the technical/commercial quotations.
  • Visit customers and/or customer’s sites, and repair facility in Zuidland to get (required) data / request latent needs.
  • Seek, propose, try, evaluate and implement improvements throughout the proposal process.

What do you need to bring?

  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in working in a technical and/or commercial position.
  • Experience in working with oil- and gas equipment is preferred.
  • Experience in working in a capital project organization is preferred.
  • A pro-active attitude, eager to learn and develop, hands-on an accurate way of working.
  • Team player and a self-starter.
  • Willing to travel (less than 20%).
  • Fluency in English.
