The R&D Project Manager will plan, lead and deliver on time, and within budget multidisciplinary projects for new product development and product improvements related to compressors and compression systems, in accordance with the Corporate New Product Development process. You will be part of the New Product Development team. This is a unique opportunity to work with a highly motivated team to capture the growth opportunities in our markets, including the renewable hydrogen market. Join us in this exciting journey.

What needs to be done?

•    Establish the project plan based on project requirements, risk analysis and business case.
•    Contribute to write the business case for New Product Development projects.
•    Leads projects to completion while ensuring control and forecasting of expenses, resources, quality of the deliverables and project schedule.
•    Ensures that projects are executed in compliance with the company NPD processes.
•    Identify issues and propose mitigating actions.
•    Takes decisions on the project within one’s limit of authority.
•    Keep the stakeholders informed (internal or external).
•    Proposes improvements in project execution.

What do you need to bring?

•    Bachelor’ or Masters’ degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent level.
•    Experience in Project Management.
•    Knowledge of design processes and tools.
•    Good communication skills in English – ability to influence and convince.
•    Self-starter and able to work efficiently in small teams.
•    Experience with an ERP system.
•    Knowledge in rotating equipment.
•    A continuous improvement mindset with a focus on process orientation.
•    Experience with various project management techniques.
