Quality Control Engineer

What Will You Do?

Supplier evaluation & qualification 

• Conduct technical audits on welding & fabrication suppliers.
• Assess capability on processes such as SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, SAW, plate forming, machining, heat treatment, coating and packing.
• Validate compliance to relevant standards ( ASME, AWS, AS/NZS, EN ISO 3834 ).
• Review and approve supplier documentation:

• WPS, PQR, WPQ
• ITP/QAP
• NDT procedures
• Routine Inspection

1. 1. 1. Perform all in-process inspections as detailed in the sub-contract quality plan and sign off, if acceptable.
      2. Complete general surveillance during the entire contract to ensure compliance with all Internal and any specific contractual requirements.
      3. Verification of all inspection reports as required in the sub-contract quality plan.

NCR / Concessions

1. 1. 1. In the event of a concession request from the vendor, or on a non-conformance occurring, will act as the initiator

Witness or Hold Point

1. 1. 1. Will confirm any dates for witness or hold points detailed in the sub-contract quality plan to the quality engineer and copy to the procurement engineer.
      2. It is imperative that the notification period detailed on the sub-contract quality plan is strictly adhered to.
      3. Will either perform or liaise with supplier and buyer during this witness or hold points, as directed by the buyer and supplier operation manager. Note that this may involve the Client or third party.
      4. Ability overseas working at supplier’s place

Documentation & compliance

• Ensure suppliers maintain complete quality dossiers.
• Verify document completeness for audits and customer requirements.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and project specifications

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…

Your work location is in Thailand.

Your Experience Should Be...

5-10 Year experience in Heavy Fabrication QC,

Excellent Eglish Language verbal & written skills.

Experience in compiling detailed Engineering & QC reports

Degree preferred
