What Will You Do?

• Follow all safety and environmental directives
• Disassemble and clean components. Inspect for flaws, cracks, etc.
• Operate manual and automated cleaning equipment
• Operate assembly and testing machines
• Able to read micrometers and veniers
• Perform fitting operations of valve components requiring filing, sanding, buffing, drilling, tapping and any other normal operation required to fit the component to the valve
• Capable of testing components to requirements while checking for leaks and improper function, and logging test data
• Keep a clean and orderly work area and maintain accurate records and job history
• Works with minimum supervision resolving complex issues

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…

• Majority of work shift is spent standing
• ability to read tape measure
• ability to read drawing/blueprints
• use of hands to handle or feel equipment, reach with hands and arms to install equipment
• ability to generate/prepare reports
• Lift and move up to 50 pounds. Above 50 pounds requires lifting equipment
• Frequent walking, climbing or balancing, kneeling, bending, crouching, stooping, pulling, and pushing in order to install and/or diagnose equipment and/or tooling 
• Good vision for close and distance with ability to focus
• Must be able to operate the applicable forklifts as needed

Your Experience Should Be...

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 2-4 years of prior manufacturing assembly experience
• Valve component production experience a plus
