We are seeking a Customer Service Representative based in Windsor, CT to support our customers and internal teams through responsive service, accurate quote preparation, and effective order coordination. This role plays a critical part in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering timely solutions, managing inquiries, and supporting the overall success of our aftermarket operations. 

What Will You Do?

  • Deliver customer service and support to end-users for all company products
  • Interact with customers to obtain, provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns and requests about products and services
  • Prepare quotes for parts / service needs
  • Research required information using available resources
  • Follow standard processes and procedures
  • Identify and escalate priority issues per client specifications
  • Redirect problems to appropriate resource
  • Stay current with system information, changes and updates
  • Effectively manage large volume of customer interaction

Skill and Knowledge Qualifications:

  • Mechanical aptitude with ability to speak/write/type clearly and accurately
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Effective listening skills
  • Multi-tasking capabilities;
  • Ability to establish proper course of action to ensure that work is completed efficiently and timely
  • Possesses, acquires, and maintains the technical/professional expertise required to do the job effectively and to create effective customer solutions. Technical/professional expertise is demonstrated through problem solving, applying technical knowledge, and product and service management for the functional area in which employee operates.

 

Essential

 

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a proficient level of product/service/customer base knowledge.
  • Ease in establishing and maintaining productive relationships both internally and externally
  • Strong written and oral communication skills – an active listener with proven collaboration skills.
  • High competency w/ Microsoft Office Products: Word, Office, Excel, Powerpoint
  • Accomplished multi-tasker able to prioritize large volume of activity
  • Demonstrated technical know-how, analytical skills, and mechanical aptitude

 

Desirable

  • Experience with continuous improvement tools.
  • MRP / Baan business systems\
