What Will You Do?
• Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Perform MIG welding on a daily basis, TIG welding occasionally.
• Setup, run, and modify robotic weld programs.
• Operate robot welder on a multitude of parts.
• Review blueprints, work instructions, and job specifications to determine appropriate materials, tools, and procedures needed to complete processes.
• Layout, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, tape measures, and rulers.
• Weld separately or in combination, using steel, aluminum and stainless steel.
• Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind, or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding.
• Install holes, slots, and notches as required.
• Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…
Physical Demands
• Wear proper PPE for the job.
• Standing long periods of time.
• Able to lift 30lbs min.
• 20/20 vision with correction.
Your Experience Should Be...
• High School Diploma, or GED.
• 3 plus years of welding experience.
• Robotic welder experience desired but not required.
• Working knowledge of a Windows based PC.
• Must possess mechanical aptitude.
• Desire to produce high quality work.
• Must be able to pass Drug Screening.
• Ability to work overtime if needed.
