What Will You Do?

This is a NIGHT shift position.  The hours are 3:45pm to 2:15am, Monday through Thursday

  • Sets up, adjusts and monitor machine used to shell solder
  • Hand solders repairs, as needed
  • Interprets blueprints and BOM’s to install correct amount and orientation of tubing
  • Setup and operation of coil roller
  • Understand and adhere to established safety and quality procedures
  • Maintain a clean work area and practice general acceptable housekeeping standards
  • Perform all tasks to ISO standards and requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This is a very physical job and the employee will regularly lift, stand; walk; sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl.  Employee will use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.  The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance. Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this role includes close vision.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to risk of electrical shock. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, airborne particles and vibration.  Frequent exposure to fumes.  Depending on product line, employee may be regularly exposed to working with acid. Moderate noise level in the work environment

Your Experience Should Be...

  • 1+ year manufacturing experience
  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, BOM’s and design sketches
  • Basic math skills
  • Experience with tools and machinery
  • Ability to accurately read tape measure essential
  • Attention to detail essential
  • Proven ability to iroblem solve minor non-conformities and deviations  
  • Overtime and weekend hours, when needed

Preferred

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Machine operating experience
  • Experience using an acetylene torch
  • Brazing or soldering experience
  • Some welding experience
