IMB - Chart Industries specializes in the design and manufacture of shell and tube heat exchangers for the most critical processes/services in the refining, petrochemical, fertilizer and offshore industries fabricated in a range of material types ranging from standard carbon steel to the more exotic type of high alloy and titanium.

To enhance our staff, we’re looking for a: NDT operator

What Will You Do?

• Perform visual, dimensional and non-destructive testing (NDT) on raw materials, semi-finished products and finished products, using different methodologies such as ultrasound, radiography, penetrant liquids and magnetic particle testing.
• Interpret test results and draw up detailed reports, identifying any defects or anomalies.
• Collaborate in the design and implementation of quality control plans.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and regulations relating to NDT.
• Promptly report any quality issues and support problem resolution
• Manage and maintain control equipment in good condition and well calibrated.

Requirements and preferred qualifications...

• High school diploma in technical field (mechanical, electrical, aeronautical).
• Excellent ability to read technical drawings.
• Precision, attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• Knowledge of the English language.
• Ability to use the MSOffice package.
• Knowledge of the different NDT methodologies and related regulations / Second level certifications for the NDT methods used (UT, PT, MT, RT, MSLT etc.)
• Previous experience in the field of non-destructive testing (NDT).
• Ability to interpret test results and write detailed reports.
