Ensuring IMB - Chart’s Success…

IMB - Chart Industries specializes in the design and manufacture of shell and tube heat exchangers for the most critical processes/services in the refining, petrochemical, fertilizer and offshore industries fabricated in a range of material types ranging from standard carbon steel to the more exotic type of high alloy and titanium.

What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…

• Perform inspections and quality checks on materials and components in accordance with industry standards and applicable regulations.
• Check manufacturing processes for compliance with internal procedures and technical specifications.
• Conduct audits and inspections of systems, equipment, and products during both production and post-production.
• Draft detailed reports on inspections conducted, highlighting any non-conformities and suggesting corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure quality standards are met.
• Monitor and analyze quality data to identify trends and improvement’s areas.
• Participate in project meetings to provide quality-related feedback and technical support.
• Maintain inspection records and manage the quality database.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations during all inspection operations.

Requirements & Qualifications…

• Technical degree in mechanical field or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience as Quality Inspector in oil & gas or related industry.
• Knowledge of quality regulations and ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001).
• Excellent ability to read and interpret technical drawings and product specifications.
• Familiarity with measuring instruments and testing techniques (e.g., ultrasound, magnetoscopy).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work as part of a team.
• Additional quality-related certifications are considered a plus.
• Fluency in both spoken and written English.
