Chart Industries Company is currently seeking for an on-site Aftermarket Application Engineer based in Beasley, TX. This role supports in the design, development and modification of computer applications and programs. Write technical specifications to design or redesign computer solutions. Participate in overall systems testing.

What Will You Do?

•    Determine scope of work for a project. Prepare project documentation such as technical specifications, proposals, pricing and schedules for turbo-expanders, turbo-compressors and related equipment while ensuring total customer satisfaction.
•    Train and assist customers as needed on a technical level.
•    Some domestic and international trips may be required.

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…

A mixer of office, shop and field environments.

Your Experience Should Be...

•    Experience in Rotating equipment. 
•    Strong Mechanical technical aptitude.

•    B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related Technical degree. 
•    1-3+ year’s experience in bid/proposal preparation and the ability to read and understand technical and commercial specifications.
•    Competent in reading technical drawings including P&IDs & Wiring Diagrams
•    Experience with API & ASME codes.
•    Expertise in Gas Dynamics / Auxiliary System Design / Control & Electrical or Mechanical Design a big plus.
•    Knowledge of computer software: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, ACT.
•    Experience in the Oil & Gas is a plus.
•    Experience in Risk Assessment analysis a plus.
•    Strong communication skills to interface with internal personnel and external customers.
•    Self starter who can work independently.
