Chart's Beasley, TX facility is currently seeking candidates interested in the position of Project Manager. The Project Manager is responsible for planning, organizing and directing the work of several projects, maintaining coordination during the project life cycle, and reviewing work for adherence to company standards of excellence. Open to entry level applicants with a Bachelors in Engineering.

What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…

  • To plan, organize and direct the work of several projects in the coordination of efforts of the various engineering functions and client needs
  • Reviews cost estimates and schedules
  • Maintains coordination with engineering, purchasing and manufacturing personnel to assure timeliness, efficiency and high quality of work
  • Reviews and monitors monthly schedules, budgets and operating reports for their project
  • Maintains liaison with client representative to assure project is progressing satisfactorily
  • Advises client of the most technically feasible approach to achieving project goals. Influences clients decisions such that it is consistent with overall good engineering and manufacturing practices
  • Reviews work for adherence to company standards of excellence and compliance with clients requirements
  • Reviews designs for most cost effective means of fabrication
  • Ensures timely shipment

Your Education Should Be…

B.S. in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…

  • Mostly Indoor Office Environment
  • Some Outdoor/Shop Environment
  • Noisy/Loud Shop Environment

Your Professional Experience Should Be…

  • 0-2 years in engineering, designing, or manufacturing
  • Pump Skids and Electrical experience desired 
  • Strong technical, organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Advanced Excel skills required
  • Analytics and dashboard experience a plus
