Ensuring Chart’s Success…

The main purpose is to participate in Howden SSC’s automation and reporting initiatives. Strong focus on timely delivery of recurring and ad-hoc reports to stakeholders. Ownership of the report maintenance, understanding of the technical basis of the reports, as well as a fundamental understanding of underlying processes are expected. With support from senior colleagues, participation in projects focusing on process automation, transparency and standardization. The role in the projects typically involves consulting with process owners, developing automations solutions and implementing them. Carrying out the projects may require familiarity, expertise, or knowledge of VBA, MSSQL, and Power Platform tools. Understanding financial processes and ERP functions significantly improves project outcomes.

What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…

  • On-time reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on a monthly basis
  • Support SSC teams with daily/weekly/monthly reporting activities
  • Support implementation of additional KPIs as required
  • Support ad hoc requests for data pulls as well as data analysis
  • Support Automation & Reporting Senior Consultant in projects and requests
  • Maintain process documentation and perform regular reviews
  • Implement improvements to existing reports and processes 

Your Education Should Be…

  • University or college degree
  • Significant, solid knowledge of finance processes
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Fluency in English

Your Professional Experience Should Be…

  • Experience with using one or more of the following: VBA, MSSQL, Power Platform tools
  • Experience with PowerBI is an advantage
  • Experience and understanding of major ERP systems is an advantage
