We are inviting you to join Howden, a Chart Industries Company and become a trusted and valued member of our Procurement team.

Howden is currently in the middle of building a Procurement / Supply Chain / Logistic hub in Budapest - thus we are looking for a colleague to join us in a Buyer position to collaborate with our German business unit. Under general supervision, the new colleague understands and applies principles and practices as well as works with clients to acquire goods and ensures that orders are delivered on time. Resolves billing and shipping problems and provides information to suppliers, inspects deliveries for shipping errors, improper handling or quality issues.

What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…

• Converting purchase requisitions into purchase orders
• Processing order amendments
• Monitoring and processing order confirmations
• Monitoring delivery dates including escalation according to defined escalation levels
• Processing invoice workflows
• Clarifying deviation issues within the defined value limits
• Processing quality notifications and service notifications including claim process
• Scheduling assigned materials, processing exception notifications
• Maintenance of master data in SAP
• Maintaining contacts with internal and external interface partners, participating in scheduled meetings etc.
• Communication with suppliers
• Processing Felios list

Your Professional Experience Should Be…

• Experience within Procurement/Logistics in any role related to purchasing/buying
• Fluency in English and German, fit for negotiation in both languages
• Technical acumen - ability to read technical drawings
• SAP knowledge in procurement/Logistic modules
• MS office knowledge - ability to pull/create basic reports
• Proactive mindset with inner motivation to create and add value
