The Aftermarket Americas Parts Fulfilment Operations team leads the order / project lifecycle from order entry through project execution and order fulfilment to customers. This is a fast paced, dynamic role that involves a high level of responsiveness, coordination, in a fast-paced environment with multiple departments, customers, and team members. What Will You Do?

 

  • Customer Service: act as the key point of contact and drive responsiveness to customer inquiries and proactive / order-related communications.
  • Act as key coordinator between various internal teams to drive performance to customer expectations and business requirements.
  • Lead communications with the customer.
  • Track and follow-up on milestones for the project.
  • Manage full project from order receipt through delivery.
  • Maintain and support project management best practices and procedures.
  • Focus on continuous improvement.

What needs to be done?

  • Manage aftermarket parts orders for key customers.
  • Utilize Project Management best practices and procedures.
  • Be adaptable, with a solution-oriented mindset and effective communication.
  • Maintain strong organization and time management, work in a positive and collaborative manner to manage deadlines and priorities.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction, project margins, schedule and quality are achieved to budget.
  • Build a strong working relationship with team members, willingness to collaborate, share best practices, support a learning environment and strong team building environment.
  • Act as a primary liaison between Howden, a Chart Industries Company, and the customer.
  • Maintain a risk mitigation and proactive mindset.
  • Support and deliver to established KPI’s.

Your Experience Should Be...

 

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management within an engineering, heavy industrial or construction firm.
  • Experience working in a highly engineered, technical industry.
  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Engineering or related field, or 10 years’ experience in project management-related roles evidencing similar job responsibilities and outcomes.
  • Experience in financial aspects of project management (i.e. delivering within project margin, variance, cash flow projections).
  • High moral and ethical standards, demonstrating teamwork and respect, and consistently setting an example for compliance to regulations and requirements.
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to set and achieve goals in an automonous manner.
  • Relates well to all kinds of people at all levels of the organization and with customers; builds constructive and effective relationships.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills. Effective in a variety of formal and informal presentation settings; one-on-one, small and large groups, inside and outside the organization.
  • Logical problem-solving skills, outstanding organizational skills and dedication to quality and integrity.
  • Ability to quickly assess complex issues and identify root causes/key success factors.
  • Successful negotiation experience while building relationships.
  • Excellent software skills including Microsoft Office Suite and ERP.
  • Able to travel on occasion.
  • Experience working in a matrix organization where influence and indirect leadership are useed to accomplish organizational objectives.

Preferred

  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX-4.
  • Project management certification.
  • Experience in air and gas handling and movement industry
