Ensuring Chart’s Success…

The HRIS Manager will be the primary support for the SuccessFactors Employee Central tool used globally for approximately 5,000 employees. This role will partner with other HRIS team members who focus on recruitment/onboarding or learning/development/performance.
 This role is an integral member of a small team that is very hands on for the day-to-day use of the tool but also a visionary in helping improve processes and finding betters ways to utilize Employee Central.
This role is based out of our Corporate office in Georgia but can work remotely.

What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…

This is a technical role that will be responsible for back end sytem configurations and interface management. Day to day will include: 

  • Primarily manage the functionality of the Employee Central,  Compensation, Reporting and Succession
  • Coordinate with Chart’s HRIS team on Recruitment, Onboarding, Performance, Development, Succession and Learning Modules
  • Ensure all interfaces are operating correctly with the support of the IT technical team required
  • Manage integration middleware updates to code (desired)
  • Coordinate with payroll teams to ensure proper data integrity, data transfer, and assist with reporting for data validation; this includes a role in the Ceridian Dayforce Global Payroll project focused on integration of data from Employee Central into Ceridian
  • Manage roles, permissions and users
  • Ensure workflows, approvals and notifications are operating as designed
  • Ensure various self-service tools are operating as designed
  • Manage quarterly updates and test impact to Chart’s modules, processes and interfaces
  • Manage configuration including foundational elements, associations, business rules, picklists, etc.
  • Lead M&A employee data integrations or divestiture processes
  • Manage mass changes
  • Create documentation for processes and create training materials for users
  • Integration of missing countries into Employee Central 
  • Proactively scan for and resolve any system-related technical issues that could impact end-user experience, data integrity, or overall end-to-end system functionality
  • Willingness to cross-train across other SuccessFactors application areas and/or other employee-facing products that integrate with the SAP SuccessFactors suite
  • Support live systems by troubleshooting, and resolving issues, by working with end users and collaborating with IT team members
  • Deliver improved process or system solutions by executing projects from end-to-end, by participating in activities ranging from requirements gathering, gap analysis, solution design, process documentation, system configuration, test planning and execution, training documentation and delivery, deployment, to support
  • Analyze business processes, and prepare detailed functional specifications for required development activities, including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms
  • Act as one of primary liaisons with SuccessFactors customer service team and implementation partner
  • Reporting, analytics and dashboards to provide business intelligence needs in the areas of headcount, data changes, self-service usage, employment trends, etc.

Year 1 Goals

  • Manage post go live Employee Central implementation for Italy and Germany
  • Manage system processes – create documentation and begin process to improve
  • Prepare for and implement employee self- service and manager self-service 
  • Manage the system administration piece for compensation merit planning and variable compensation
  • Complete automation report generation for various users

Your Professional Experience Should Be…

  • Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience managing SuccessFactors Employee Central and Compensation modules, preferably implementation experience
  • Experience with interfacing technology, concepts 
  • Intermediate to Advanced experience with Cloud Platform Integration Center desired
  • Experience with a global employer
  • Experience analyzing business processes, and prepare detailed functional specifications for required development activities, including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms
  • Must be technically savvy, have ability to relate to different user groups (technical teams, HR users, employees, and management across

Your Education Should Be…

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or relevant field

SAP Application Associate or Professional - SAP Success Factors Employee Central Certification, is a plus
