Ensuring Chart’s Success…

Chart's Ball Ground, GA facility is currently seeking candidates interested in our Maintenance Tech/Electrician position. The Maintenance Tech/Electrician develops and maintains a good working relationship with plant personnel, is committed to preventative maintenance, and performs general maintenance on plant equipment consisting of: welding equipment, air compressors, HVAC systems, and vacuum pumps. 

What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…

  • Maintain a Professional Customer Focused Attitude
  • Supporting and maintaining production equipment
  • Building new and/or retrofitting existing equipment with updated controls
  • Performing Preventative Maintenance on Equipment

Your Professional Experience Should Be…

  • Have a strong working knowledge and experience in troubleshooting and repair of: Pneumatics; Hydraulics; Mechanical systems & Welding systems
  • Electrical Controls including, DC drives, Programmable Controllers (PLC), sensors, transducers, analog signals, etc.
  • HVAC knowledge a plus
  • Basic computer skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
  • Proven ability to work independently
  • Understand and use basic blueprints.
  • Understand and use basic math.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Company safety procedures and policies.
  • Awareness and understanding of Company quality standards.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team player.

Your Education Should Be…

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Applicants are preferred to have 3-5 years as a maintenance electrician in a plant/manufacturing environment/ HVAC

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and sit. 
  • The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls and reach with hands and arms.
  • The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color evaluations, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
