Ensuring Chart’s Success…

Chart's Ball Ground, GA facility is currently seeking candidates interested in a Quality Technician position in our Quality department.

What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…

  • Conducts quality inspections of production, incoming parts and equipment. Inspect finished products to insure they conform to established quality standards.
  • Initiates nonconformance reports.
  • Will have responsibilities to conduct process, work instruction audits, and Quality Systems audits to a published schedule and issue reports. 
  • May be required to assist/conduct in failure analysis investigations and corrective actions.
  • May conduct equipment calibration tasks using internationally traceable standards.

Your Professional Experience Should Be…

  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
  • Assist in other areas of Quality department with such things as material check in, production testing, etc.
  • Maintain logs and records as required.
  • Must have or obtain extensive product knowledge.
  • Must be able to understand ISO 9001 procedures. 
  • Must have basic computer skills. 
  • Excellent work and attendance records.
  • Welding experience is a plus.

Your Education Should Be…

  • High School Graduate or equivalent

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and sit. 
  • The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls and reach with hands and arms.
  • The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color evaluations, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
