We are hiring an application engineer. This position may be remote or hybrid located out of our Duluth, GA office. 

What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…


  • Basic knowledge of water treatment process chemistry
  • Basic identification and sizing of equipment used in water treatment applications such as pumps, valves, piping, tanks, and electrical components
  • Basic equipment selection and design for potable and industrial water treatment applications
  • Basic process design for potable, industrial, and groundwater treatment systems & processes
  • Basic cost estimating and vendor communications for process equipment selected
  • Basic ability to complete various levels of proposal documents requested
  • Basic ability to read and understand technical specifications
  • Basic understanding of controls and ability to generate controls philosophies
  • Intermediate organization skills with ability to independently manage workload including proposals assignments and project tasks
  • Intermediate ability to prepare technical proposals including costing and equipment scoping
  • Intermediate ability to generate process descriptions for each technology AdEdge implements
  • Intermediate ability to communicate technical details of proposals and projects to TSMs and Engineers / Customers

Your Professional Experience Should Be…


  • Min 1+ years of relevant engineering experience with emphasis in water treatment systems and technologies
  • Technical experience in water treatment system design and operation

Your Education Should Be…


B.S. degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical preferred) or 10+years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…


The employee frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Lifting of 50 pounds may be required. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Duties include lengthy visual requirements on computer monitors.
