Chart Water, a Chart Industries Company is seeking an Electrical Assembler position at our Duluth GA location
What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…
- Integrate industrial control panel, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic components for automated water treatment equipment and pump controls.
- Assemble parts and tools and fits electronic components together.
- Inspect wiring installations, assembilies and circuits.
- Verifies dimensions and clearance of parts to ensure working correctly.
- Test functional performance to ensure wiring is operational.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Your Education Should Be…
High School Diploma or GED.
Technical School, a plus
Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…
- Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls and climb or balance.
- Occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms; kneel, crouch or crawl; hear and talk.
- Regularly life and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds and lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Your Professional Experience Should Be…
- Minimum 2 years of related experience in assembly of electrical/mechanical components and systems.
- Demonstrated experience reading schematics and understanding assembly drawings.
- Some exposure or experience to troubleshooting control systems, a plus.
- Must have a team player mindset.
- Must be willing and able to work overtime, as needed, including weekends.
