Chart Water, a Chart Industries Company is seeking an Electrical Controls Supervisor position at our Duluth GA location. 

What Will You Do?

  • Manages project schedule, including the preparation of the weekly status report;
  • Supervises electrical team – maintain proper staffing levels, resolve production issues, evaluate/approve drawings, spec, routings, etc.
  • New Product Support, including participating in engineering design reviews, supporting prototyping activities and transitioning new products and technology into production;
  • Performs assembly, and fabrication of treatment systems per provided drawings and schematics;
  • Ensures the electrical shop  team maintains tools and area cleanliness to Chart standards;
  • May assist with treatment system QA/QC FAT testing;

Performs other duties as assigned

The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. 

Your Experience Should Be...

Education

  • High School Diploma, GED or vocational/technical school certificate or equivalent

 

Experience

  • A minimum of  2 years assembly experience which must include industrial control cabinets and PCB assemblies;
  • A minimum of 1 year supervisor or team lead experience;
  • Proven ability to read schematics and understand assembly drawings;
  • Self-starter capable of organizing and managing multiple projects;
  • Proven experience managing to deadlines;
  • Proficient in MS Office, Excel;
  • MS Projects program experience, a plus
