What Will You Do?
- Lead Field Service Start-Up and Technical Service scheduling, record keeping / database, tracking, metrics of results and elapsed time to resolution; report results to management regularly.
- Implement continuous improvement processes to lower incidents of system / field errors; maintain database of technical service tickets and resolutions; reduce time to resolution.
- Substantial working knowledge of drinking and process water treatment systems, membrane systems, filter systems, components, and ancillary equipment.
- Competence in understanding mechanical and electrical systems and ancillary equipment sold by company including chemical feed and monitoring systems, PLCs (Allen Bradley Micro Logix, CompactLogix), CO2 systems, packaged potable, industrial, or groundwater treatment systems & processes.
- Understanding of media-based adsorption, ION Exchange, membrane, filtration systems and operational principles.
- Perform telephone and field troubleshooting and problem solving for customers.
- Conduct system startups and active participation on startup team.
- Provide technical input to AdEdge designs, operations, and manufacturing to improve internal processes and products offered
- System Commissioning Plans and activities related to startup of AdEdge systems.
- Development of technical bulletins, design improvements and documentation
- Overseeing service contracts, managing system warranty claims, spare parts, and field service awarded treatment projects.
- Estimated < 40% travel required.
Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…
Standing, stopping, bending walking on customer sites. Will use a computer.
Your Experience Should Be...
- High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years of experience working in a water treatment environment.
• Working knowledge of drinking and process water treatment systems, membrane systems, filter systems, components, and ancillary equipment
• Excellent personal communication skills for interfacing with customers
• Solid, practical experience with variety of water treatment system design and operations.
• Hands on / field experience implementing water treatment projects.
• Strong competence in contractor interface, scheduling, estimating, working with A/E firms and strong working knowledge of engineering drawings and specifications
• Strong personal computer skills and good knowledge of Excel and Word.
• Must be organized and able to multi-task and work on multiple projects concurrently.
• Training in general safety, electrostatic discharge awareness, foreign object damage awareness and quality system awareness.
• Develop and/or adapt inspection equipment to meet quality control standards, make suggestions about procedures, standards and equipment to facilitate work and maintain product quality.
• Analyze facts or circumstances surrounding individual problems to determine what action should be taken within the limits of standard practices.
• Responsible for compilation and maintenance of inspection reports and records.
• Investigate and determine cause of faulty work and consult and advise production supervisors as to corrective measures.
