We are hiring Maintenance Electrician with PLC Programming experience. This position is a hybrid role and will be based out of our Duluth, GA office.

What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…

  • Performs general maintenance activities on plant equipment including welding equipment and systems, temperature control systems, semi-automatic controlled machinery, vacuum pumps and more
  • Develops, programs and installs new and/or modified industrial equipment for production use
  • Assume responsibility and care of assigned tools and equipment
  • Maintains a clean work area and general housekeeping standards, such as care for assigned tools and proper disposal of hazardous waste
  • Understands and practices established safety and quality standard procedures
  • Performs all tasks to ISO standards and requirements
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
  • Continuously looks for opportunities for cost reductions and continuous improvements

Your Education Should Be…

  • Working in a team environment with strong team building skills
  • 3 years maintenance and electrician experience, preferably in plant manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience troubleshooting and repair the following:  3-phase systems (480 & 208/120) , motor controls, pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanical systems and welding systems
  • Allen-Bradley PLC experience to include MicroLogix, RsLogix500 and RsLogix5000 platforms
  • Proven ability to build and install control panels with or without schematics
  • Self-motivated, ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with limited direction
  • Overtime and weekend hours, as needed
