What Will You Do?

The Production Assembler is responsible for assembling, fitting, and installing components during the production of water vessels for Water Treatment projects. This role requires working from blueprints, engineering specifications, and production schedules to ensure the vessel is constructed to meet safety standards, quality targets, and customer requirements. The Assembler works closely with other production team members, welders, electricians, and quality inspectors to complete vessels efficiently and accurately.
Responsibilities
o    Assemble water vessel components including pipping’s, fittings, and interior modules according to technical drawings, schematics, and work orders. Install mechanical parts, electrical systems, plumbing, and hydraulic components per specifications.
o    Inspect materials and assemblies throughout the production process to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. Identify and report defects or non-conformities to supervisors for timely corrective actions.
o    Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized marine assembly equipment safely and efficiently. Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance of tools used.
o    Follow occupational safety guidelines, including confined space procedures, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and safe handling of hazardous materials.
o    Adhere to maritime and manufacturing industry regulations during assembly processes.
o    Work cooperatively with team members including welders, carpenters, electricians, and engineers.
o    Communicate progress, issues, and resource needs to the production supervisor or project lead. Maintain accurate assembly records, including work logs, inspection checklists, and completion reports.
o    Ensure traceability of components by following company documentation protocols.
o    Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and product quality. Recommend changes to assembly methods or materials to improve output and reduce waste.

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…

Standing, sitting, bending,  stooping for long periods of time. Lifting 30-50lbs

Your Experience Should Be...

High School diploma or equivalent.
•    2 + years of experience working in a manufacturing environment with hand tools and understanding of drawings and schematics.

Knowledge Skills:
•    Ability to understand and follow directions.
•    Read blueprints.
•    Manual dexterity. 
•    Strong verbal and written communication skills.
