The Project Coordinator is responsible for the successful and profitable management and execution of our aftermarket services sales. This position reports directly to Operations but requires extremely close daily coordination with the Aftermarket Services commercial team and Account support personnel. Daily activities range from project management, schedule management, subcontractor management, procurement, freight management, budget tracking, supervision of on-site personnel, safety procedure requirements, customer relations, municipal utilities procedures adherence, environmental regulatory requirements, and project close outs.

What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…

 

  • Project coordination and execution for media replacement and aftermarket services including subcontractors, purchasing, transportation and disposal coordination, scheduling, and services.
    • Coordinating subcontractors and AdEdge field technicians for service work.
    • Adherence of testing, transportation, disposal and environmental agency regulatory requirements.
    • Collaboration with accounting department personnel for sales orders, invoices, purchase orders and budget tracking.
    • Follow up on the procurement, purchase orders, shipping and receiving items.
    • Onsite Representative coordination and support.
    • Assist with manufacturing of systems and components as needed for selected project work.
  • Occasional field work, inspections, supervision, and customer/ vendor relations.
  • Lead SOAP development and adherence.
  • Assist in the tracking and execution of maintenance and service plans
  • Assist with other activities, as required, that will help grow the department.
  • Cross-training on Residential products and SOAPs.
  • Provide support to the Residential department, as required and directed by Manager.

Your Professional Experience Should Be…

 

  • 1+ years experience in project management or project coordination or project support.
  • 1+ years of water treatment experience, preferred
  • Excellent personal communication skills for interfacing with customers.
  • Strong competence in a contractor interface, scheduling, working with A/E firms
  • Strong working knowledge of engineering drawings and specifications 
  • Strong personal computer skills and good knowledge of Excel and Word
  • Must be organized and able to multi-task and work on multiple projects concurrently.
  • Experience in the field with startup of water or wastewater treatment systems
  • Competence in understanding mechanical, electrical systems and ancillary equipment including chemical feed and monitoring systems,
  • Electrical controls and instrumentation competency; PLC knowledge a plus.
  • Team building and training expertise.

Your Education Should Be…

 

  • High school diploma
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree, preferred
