We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-starter with a "can do" attitude to support the Chart Water business in Duluth, GA. This position is perfect for a highly organized and results-oriented individual who enjoys working in a manufacturing environment.  

What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…

  • General reception duties:  visitor check-in, mail distribution, office supplies, point of contact for cleaning crew and facility maintenance issues, incoming calls to main line, and maintaining front lobby appearance.  
  • Support manufacturing operations by assisting in the preparation of weekly and monthly reports, presentations, and KPI's.
  • Assemble/prepare operations and maintenance manuals for all new products and systems fabricated at the facility.
  • Provide support to Project Management which includes technical operations manuals, offsite printing services, submittals, documentation, and invoices and remittals. 
  • Support onsite training and meetings - secure conference rooms, catering, and assist out-of-town visitors with lodging reservations and transportation.
  • Employee monthly business updates:  schedule calendar invites, update PowerPoint template, room setup and assists facilitators, as needed.
  • May provide recruiting support, such as scheduling onsite interviews, conference rooms, preparing new hire orientation packets, creating employee badges, etc.
  • Employee recognition: manage the site communications and coordinate facility-wide events.
  • General administrative duties:  gathering data and updating reports related to operations metrics using Excel, creating PowerPoint templates, etc.
  • Other related duties, as assigned.

Your Education Should Be…

High school diploma or GED required.

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and sit. 
  • The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls and reach with hands and arms.
  • The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

Your Professional Experience Should Be…

  • A minimum of 3 years of administrative experience.
  • Proven experience dealing with internal and external customers with a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Must be organized, self-directed and able to manage competing priorities.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.  Ability to use Excel at a general proficiency level will be required.
  • Overtime may be required, depending on business need.
