What Will You Do?

  1. Monitor bank transactions and download payment information from bank portals.
  2. Apply daily incoming payments to customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  3. Reconcile payment discrepancies and escalate complex issues.
  4. Generate daily/weekly cash application and ageing reports and send it to the appropriate groups.
  5. Communicate with internal departments (Credit & Collections) for any remittance requirements and timely issue resolution of short payments, overpayments and unapplied cash.
  6. Investigate and resolve unidentified payments by reaching out to bank personnel or to the appropriate teams.
  7. Assist with the payment related enquiries, net off/write off requests, unapply & reapply requests.
  8. Maintain and keep the unapplied/logged receipts file ready for the weekly call.
  9. Actively participate in weekly unapplied calls and discuss all the pending unapplied cash and work on getting resolutions.
  10. Clear the backlog unapplied and logged cash and send a weekly report.
  11. Bring in any process improvements ideas for the betterment of the process.
  12. Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
  13. Ensure data accuracy for month-end close activities and audits.

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…

Your Experience Should Be...

Bachelor’s or Master's degree in finance.

2–5 years of experience in accounts recievable, cash applications

Good communication, and problem-solving skills
