Ensuring Chart’s Success…
1. Supervision of workshops and on-site service and overhaul activities.
2. Support on technical issues on site and Workshop
3. Following local suppliers and required local repairs
4. Identify new opportunities - Sales, service agreements, technical support/solutions etc.
5. Secure that our clients utilize our equipment according to manuals and documentation
Field Service Technician must support Workshop and Field Service growth in securing service and retrofit on own installed base and competitions installed base.
In close relationship with both Aftermarket, Engineering. The Technician must service all customers professionally and secure a high degree of customer satisfaction. The Technician is expected to work consistently with securing on time delivery of support, to customers and business partners.
What Will You Do?
- Supervise and support the installed base of equipment, including new installations and commissioning, maintenance and servicing, as well as retrofit activities and upgrades.
- Perform on-site technical support and field service activities, such as troubleshooting and diagnostics, overhauls and repairs (both on-site and in the workshop), and execution of tasks in line with technical manuals and documentation.
- Perform overseas field service activities.
- Identify and support new business opportunities; promote service agreements and technical support solutions; recommend spare parts, upgrades, and system improvements.
- Ensure all work complies with Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) guidelines, local regulations, and company standards.
- Prepare and submit accurate documentation, including reports and records.
- Provide technical advice to customers based on company specifications, standards, and tolerances to ensure optimal equipment performance and value.
- Ensure customers operate the equipment in accordance with manuals and best practices.
- Participate in customer visits and meetings
- Adhere to company rules, policies, and general guidelines.
Your Experience Should Be...
- Applicants should hold a degree from vocational technical schools or similar technical colleges.
- Preferably, candidates should have experience with rotating equipment such as fans, blowers, compressors, and turbines.
- Previous workshop experience is preferred
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
- Hands-on experience is needed
- Technical background/Skills.
- Service-minded and understand the importance of identifying customer needs.
- Friendly and efficient communications with colleagues and customers
- Persistent and used to working independently.
- Prioritizes tasks according to resources and deadlines.
- Able to travel domestically and internationally.
- MS Office programs.
- Speaking English is a plus
- B class driving license is required
- No military obligation
- Site and workshop experience.
- Mechanicals skills.
