MEA Projects, a Division of Howden Africa (Pty) Ltd is looking for an experienced Project Administrator to be responsible for the support to the project execution team and coordinating tasks of complex and multidiscipline projects through design, supply, manufacture, site installation and commissioning. The candidate needs to serve as a key point of contact for project-related inquiries, maintaining high standards of efficiency, accuracy, and compliance in project administration.

What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…

  • Maintain and update project processes in line with company standards.
  • Ensure compliance with project management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK).
  • Oversee the proper documentation of project workflows and approval processes.
  • Manage project details, reports, and updates into the KEY360 performance management system.
  • Compile a centralized project dashboard summarizing project status and KPIs.
  • Track project milestones, deadlines, and deliverables in KEY360.
  • Generate reports and dashboards from KEY360 for management review.
  • Ensure all project team members are trained and proficient in using KEY360.
  • Schedule project meetings and prepare agendas.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate minutes during meetings.
  • Track and follow up on action items to ensure completion.
  • Serve as a point of contact for project-related inquiries.
  • Ensure smooth flow of project information and updates.
  • Support project managers in administrative work

Your Education Should Be…

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…

Your Professional Experience Should Be…

  • 2-4 years of experience in a project administration role.
  • Qualification in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
  • Experience using KEY360 project management software.
  • Understanding of project management processes and procedures.
  • Knowledge of NEC and/or FIDIC conditions of contract would be an advantage.
  • Customer-facing experience and strong communication skills a must.
  • A practical and analytical minded hands-on approach coupled with excellent communication and people skills.
  • A solution orientated attitude with a desire to progress withing the field of project execution.
  • Proficiency in project management systems.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in project documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
