The Inventory Clerk will assist in maintaining accurate inventory keeping including cycle counts, and audits of inventory levels.

 

This position will be a second shift role.  (Monday – Friday: 3pm – 11pm)

What Will You Do?

  • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory keeping including cycle counts, and audits of inventory levels.
  • Data entry of inventory requisitions.
  • Collaborate with procurement team to coordinate the flow of goods.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify discrepancies and investigate inventory variances.
  • Support the team in implementing inventory control best practices to optimize inventory levels. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Your Educational and Professional Experience Should Be…

The incumbent must have sufficient knowledge and ability to:

  • High school diploma (or GED)
  • Basic understanding of supply chain processes.
  • JDE Experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…

Some tasks and responsibilities require working in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing plant. (Will be subject to working in conditions typical to a manufacturing plant, including but not limited to: loud noise, dust and chemicals). When in the plant, Personal Protective Equipment must be worn. Including but not limited to: safety footwear, eye, hearing, and hand protection. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods of time, walk for long periods of time, bend and stoop repetitively, and handle repetitious activity for long periods of time. Must be able to withstand working in both an office and manufacturing plant environment. Must be able to sit and work on a computer for long periods of time.
