Ensuring Chart’s Success…
The candidate will help to establish enhanced processes and procedures for the manufacture of brazed aluminum heat exchangers (BAHX), as well as provide day-to-day manufacturing engineering and project management support for BAHX that are actively being planned and/or manufactured. 
What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…
  • Develop training instructions and train others, usually production workers, in specific manufacturing processes.
  • Work with equipment vendors to assess advancement in technologies that would offer cost savings in the manufacture of BAHX.
  • Evaluate, analyze, and make recommendations on methods, hardware, designs, and cost improvements to improve the manufacturability of BAHX.  Must be capable of making recommendations on capital expenditure improvements and managing said projects.
  • Conduct and/or supervise studies to determine cause, effect and the corrective measures required to remedy deviations from desirable standards of production and quality.
  • Conduct process investigation for design improvement, standardization and cost reduction.
  • Provide support to sales and marketing with BAHX customer support.
  • Use software such as MS Office, AutoCAD and MS Project to perform engineering, financial, scheduling and report writing tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Your Education Should Be…

4 Year Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Physical Sciences or an equivalent combination of experience, training, and education.

Your Professional Experience Should Be…
  • Ability to ready, analyze, and interpret technical journals.
  • Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal
  • with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Have database software knowledge on design software, data acquisition software, development software, internet software, manufacturing software, project management software, and Microsoft Office.
  • Basic PLC skills and the ability to understand and create ladder logic is preferred.
  • General knowledge of RCA techniques and how to apply them.
  • Understanding of fabrication performance metrics and six sigma.
  • Effectively present information to management.
  • Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • 0 to 2 years of experience in a related engineering field.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
