The New Iberia facility specializes in cold box assembly and fabrication, pressure vessels, and other cryogenic equipment used in the air separation and hydrocarbon industries. The end users of this equipment include major LNG, petrochemical, and air separation engineering companies worldwide. The facility is located at the Port of Iberia.

What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…

Inspect received materials for quality and quantity by performing dimensional checks upon receipt.

Reject nonconforming materials and notify management of identified defects.

Follow the policies and procedures outlined in the Quality Manual to ensure proper welding procedures are followed.

Plan and implement system and documentation changes to meet ISO 9001 requirements, achieve certification, and maintain certification thereafter.

Maintain a job material traceability program and retain material traceability records for all jobs.

Oversee compliance with ASME requirements throughout manufacturing and welding processes.

Oversee inspection processes performed by the Quality Control Department and Production personnel, and maintain all resulting inspection records.

Oversee non-destructive examination (NDE) processes and maintain associated records.

Your Education Should Be......

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ten years of experience in a related position required.
College degree preferred.
Extended experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

Your Professional Experience Should Be…

Train or coordinate the training of direct reports and supervise the activities and assignments of Quality Control personnel.

Maintain quality records for each project and be prepared to submit records to customers upon request.

Utilize American Society for Quality (ASQ)–recommended procedures, or equivalent methods, to perform supplier audits for new and existing material suppliers.

Maintain a log of calibration requirements, calibration dates, and periodic re-calibration for all measuring tools.

Compile and issue Job Quality Assurance documents for each job, verify completion of all job documents, and archive the records.

Oversee pressure testing of cold box systems and verify test results.

Oversee weld mapping, monitoring, and weld testing for all manufactured products requiring welding.

Maintain the corrective action program, including Nonconformance Reports (NCRs) and analysis of recurring barrier code issues.

Maintain strong customer relations and interfaces with inspectors and all other customer representatives.

Maintain the annual Quality Control continuous improvement plan by organizing teams, identifying improvement opportunities, pursuing resolutions, measuring results monthly, and reporting progress to the Plant Manager.

Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…

Required to work at elevated heights up to 75ft.
