The New Iberia facility specializes in cold box assembly and fabrication, pressure vessels and other cryogenic equipment as used for the air separation and hydrocarbon industries. The end users of this equipment include all the major LNG, petrochemical and air separation engineering on a worldwide basis. The facility is located at the Port of Iberia.
What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…
- Must possess basic knowledge of scaffold erection and disassembly
- Complete daily visual inspections and maintenance to guarantee that equipment is working properly
- Must be certified and able to erect scaffolds in compliance with OSHA CFR 1926.451 and/or CFR 1910.28
- Must possess a basic knowledge of fall protection equipment
- Must be able to wear and use fall protection equipment in accordance with OSHA CFR 1926.502
- Required to work at elevated heights up to 75ft
- Must adhere to all safety standards
- Add’l duties and responsibilities may be assigned
Your Education Should Be…
- High school and/or technical program
- 5+ year’s experience in related field
- Blueprint reading required
- Knowledge of shop math preferred
- Education may be substituted by extended experience
