The New Iberia facility specializes in cold box assembly and fabrication, pressure vessels and other cryogenic equipment as used for the air separation and hydrocarbon industries. The end users of this equipment include all the major LNG, petrochemical and air separation engineering on a worldwide basis. The facility is located at the Port of Iberia.
What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Track tool room inventory
- Store and issue small tools and record their issuance showing the person to whom issued, the date of issue and the date of return
- Inspect and verify that each tool returned is in good condition
- Must be able to pass hazardous material handling safety training per DOT HM 126 F
- Must be able to pass fall protection equipment inspection safety training per NFPA 70 E
- Must be able to identify and color code welding wire per written and verbal instructions.
- Make minor repairs to power tools
- General maintenance to tools, replace tool handles, etc.
- Organize and store supplies and small stock items
- Maintain an adequate stock of supplies and items
- Requisition quantities consistent with rate of use
- Possess a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance
- Drive to area businesses to procure needed parts or services for facility
- Assist shipping and receiving when required
- Add’l duties and responsibilities may be assigned
Your Education Should Be…
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 yrs experience in related industry preferred
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance
- Knowledge of industrial tools preferred
- Lean manufacturing knowledge preferred
- Education may be substituted by extended experience
