Ensuring Chart’s Success…

Work within a diverse team, in an effort towards identifying and executing projects related to

continuous improvement, in all areas of operations and throughout the organization.

 

What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…

  • Primary contact for assigned continuous improvement projects
  • Direct and coordinate stakeholders to ensure that project deliverables are met
  • Document, publish, and maintain the project charter
  • Ensure all key metrics and milestones are relevant, realistic and achievable per the project

  • Actively manage projects with expectations of regular reporting on progress milestones
  • Manage the project timeline, cost, and critical path tasks
  • Coordinate and document periodic stake holder meetings to drive accountability through task

  • Work cross functionally between departments to encourage communication and transparency
  • Ensure all critical project documentation (process maps, IQOQPQ, PM schedule, work instructions, training schedule, etc) are published and adhered to
  • Manage the responsibility handoffs between CI, Facilities, Manufacturing, Quality, and Design Engineering to ensure all post project completion responsibilities are understood and owned by the proper group
  • Lead post mortem review meetings to ensure the sustainment and creditability of completed CI projects
  • Interface with peers across all Chart sites and within the CI community with regards to best practices, CI communications and supporting global CI initiatives

     

Your Professional Experience Should Be…

  • Computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Strong ability to work well with others in a team atmosphere
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Background in project management, operations and lean manufacturing

     

Your Education Should Be…

  • Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Project Management, or Business preferred)

 

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…

  • This position will require the ability to move around the production floor
  • Some travel as needed
