Chart's Temporary Facilities Tech. (Entry Level)  is responsible repair within the manufacturing facilityand will perform facilities maintenance involving basic plumbing, painting, carpentry and other maintenance duties, as assigned.

What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…
  • Perform general maintenance which may include, but is not limited to; painting, light bulbs, Interceptor Traps, battery replacement of all types, door hardware adjustments, faucets, toilet fixtures, water supply lines and other plumbing items and issues.
  •  Replaces defective components to restore proper operation of facilities related equipment. Maintains accurate records and metrics related to machine downtime due to maintenance issues.
  • Escorts facilities contractors to job site and monitors work performed

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…
  • Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs. at various heights including above head, with occasional heavier
  • Frequent sitting, standing, stooping, bending, twisting, walking and occasional crawling
  • Frequent pushing, pulling and handling of material
  • Occasional climbing and working at elevated positions
  • Repetitive hand movements
  • Walk and stand during a standard 8-10-hour shift and can vary based on overtime needs
  • Work in an office and industrial manufacturing environment with possible exposure to temperature extremes, overhead objects, material with rough edges odors associated with cutting and welding
Your Professional Experience Should Be…
  • High School diploma/GED required
  • Vocational/Technical training in machining, electrical or mechanical preferred
