Chart's Orca Project Manager is critical to delivering our products on time and within budget while maintaining customer satisfaction. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external customers of the Orca program. This position will be responsible for working in conjunction with Product Manager to meet the financial, quality, training, and sales goals for the product line. This position is located in New Prague, Minnesota.
What Will You Do?
- Manage multi-year, multi-million-dollar customer programs
- Manage internal strategic initiatives specific to the Orca product line
- Interface with vendors as needed for critical tasks
- Interface with engineering teams to review and approve customer specific requests
- Interface with other Chart business units that are actively working on Orcas
- Tracking delivery dates of customer supplied goods, which are critical to system completions
- Sponsor NPD efforts with engineering team
- Manage warranty claims and customer cases
- Lead product related CAPA efforts as appropriate
- Assist Product Manager with managing inventory, price exception decisions, orders and sales forecasting
- Assist Product Manager with development of the strategic plan
- Utilize the S&OP process to ensure product business needs will be met

Your Experience Should Be...
Your Professional Experience Should Be…
- 3 to 5 years of experience in sales, manufacturing, project management or engineering
- Proven ability to engage with customers in a professional and trustworthy manner
- Proven ability to educate and explain product functionality, both the "how" and the "why"
- Experience working in a self-directed role and comfortable making decisions independently
Your Education Should Be…
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university with a preferred major in marketing, business management or engineering or equivalent professional experience.
