Ensuring Chart’s Success…

The Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of a project from contract award to completion.  The Project Manager is the main customer interface while overseeing all deliverables are completed on-time and within budget.

What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…

  • Main customer interface
  • Responsible for all commercial and administrative requirements
  • Review, understand and interpret Customer specifications and contract requirements
  • Review and apply project specifications to engineering, design and fabrication efforts
  • Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure that the project deliverables are met and the project progresses on schedule and within budget
  • Execute change orders with customers where required
  • Communicate project status to customer and internal stack holders
  • Oversee in-house manufacturing status and communicate status to customers
  • Lead the project team in all necessary technical disciplines throughout the project’s design, manufacturing, installation phases
  • Ability to follow all company procedures with regards to processes & procedures
  • Provide technical guidance and problem resolution
  • Coordinate material/purchasing requirements, develop requisitions, oversee vendor progress
  • Execute invoices and follow-up on overdue invoices

  • Proven leadership, management, and organizational skills
  • Conflict resolution skills
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work and succeed in a team environment
  • Previous experience working directly in an environment where responsibility and accountability was the norm
  • Experience working with Industry Standard Codes (ASME, B31, ASTM, AWS, OSHA) and or international equivalents a plus
  • Industrial Fabrication or Construction experience
  • Understanding of Engineering disciplines
  • Excellent computer skills including MS Office, MS Project, Quickbase, experience with JD Edwards a plus

Your Education Should Be…

  • Bachelor's degree
  • PMP Certification preferred
  • 3-5 years project management experience
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…

  • This position will require the ability to move around the production floor and investigate issues with the production equipment.
  • Lift up to 15 pounds.
  • Sitting, standing, stooping, bending and other related tasks in an office setting.
