The New Prague facility specializes in cold box assembly and fabrication, pressure vessels and other cryogenic equipment as used for the air separation and hydrocarbon industries. The end users of this equipment include all the major LNG, petrochemical and air separation engineering on a worldwide basis.
This temporary position is on our Day Shift: Monday - Friday; 5:45am-2:15pm
What Will You Do?
- Assists the Maintenance and Facilities Departments.
- Performs general manual labor tasks as assigned.
- Load, unload, lift, and move materials.
- Painting and repair of facilities
- Uses hand and/or small portable power tools.
- Relies on supervisory instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job to a degree determined by his/her experience.
- Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs. and occasionally heavier (50-60 lbs.) with assistance
- Frequent sitting, standing, stooping, bending, twisting, walking and occasional crawling
- Frequent pushing, pulling and handling of materials
- Occasional climbing and working at elevated positions
- Exposure to metal cutting, welding odors, welding flash and incidental acceptable limits of x-ray radiation
- Possible exposure to chemical odors and temperature extremes
- Exposure to overhead objects and occasional flying debris
- Required use of safety glasses with side shields, ANSI approved steel-toed safety shoes, hearing protection and hard hat
Your Experience Should Be...
- Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of your start date
- Must have knowledge of departmental operations.
- Must have knowledge of safety procedures and compliance.
- Must have knowledge of shop standards.
Our Benefits Package...
• Compensation rate: $15.00 per hour
• Paid Time Off (PTO) - Earn 1 hour for every 30 hours worked, with a maximum accrual of 48 hours.
