Chart Industries is looking for a Project Coordinator for our office in Orem, UT. We are open to a hybrid schedule for this role. The Project Coordinator will be responsible providing project support throughout the project life cycle under the direction of a project manager.
What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…
- Ability to take meeting notes, manage action items, and prep teams for upcoming meetings based on previous meeting minutes.
- Interface with project accountant to ensure project hours are accurate and correct, support the submission of invoices and project cost projections.
- Interface with project procurement manager to issue purchase orders to vendors.
- Coordinate material/purchasing, develop requisitions and approve vendor selections
- Support general office management to ensure supplies are available and make assignments for repairs as needed.
- Build and produce reports from financial reporting software.
- Follow up with customers to ensure invoices are sent and payment is received in a timely manner.
- Support standardization development throughout the company to maximize the efficiency of engineers.
- Assist with proposal development and review prior to contract award
- Provide non-technical review of project and internal documentation
- Manage Customer and internal documents
- Support for cost control, cost forecasting, planning/scheduling, change management, and reporting on projects
Your Education Should Be…
Bachelor's degree preferred, but will consider a combination of education and experience.
Your Professional Experience Should Be…
- 2-3 years hands on project coordination/administration experience
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office products and an aptitude for understanding new software with training
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong ability to stay organized
- Documentation review experience
- Excellent computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Power Point and other project management programs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work and succeed in a team environment
- Experience working in an environment where responsibility and accountability was expected
- Proven organizational skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic understanding of Engineering disciplines
