VRV, part of Chart Industries Inc., is an important industrial reality present for more than 60 years in the international arena both in the design and production of pressure equipment for the Oil & Gas sectors, and in the engineering and manufacture of insulation tanks for the distribution and storage of gas in the Cryogenic sector, as well as a company operating in the Automotive HNLG business.

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineering & Continuous Improvement Manager to join our team.

What Will You Do?

  • Drive Operational Excellence and Margin Expansion
  • Plan, organize and implement systems and procedures for aiding in manufacturing while adhering to and promoting safety and quality guidelines
  • Personally conduct and/or supervise studies to determine cause, effect and the corrective measures required to remedy deviations impairing desirable standards of quality
  • Monitor production processes and then work with Production personnel to create standard work procedures, enhance flow, and implement Lean concepts throughout the plant including 5S, Visual Work, Kanban, etc.
  • Enable strategic transformation and innovation and support strategic initiatives and growth
  • Lead the Green / Yellow Belt teams
  • Work closely with team members to identify and reduce waste activities and enhance quality
  • Interface with various departments in coordinating technical information relating to specific projects
  • Interface with various departments in defining and providing solutions to detected manufacturing processes causing quality problems
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for capital equipment improvements
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Requirements & Qualifications...

  • MS Degree in Engineering, preferably Manufacturing, Industrial or Mechanical  
  • At least 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Environment is mandatory
  • Must have a working knowledge of computers, including MS Word, Excel, AutoCAD, ProE, with Inventor or SolidWorks being preferred
  • Understanding of factory metrics, Lean (Operational Excellence) and Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis and Value Stream Mapping
  • Knowledge and understanding of Data Analysis & Statistical Tools
